Nanjing Ningli Subway line construction work is rushing to completion. A lot of supporting construction work is being undertaken in the area leading to the airport. At the Airport Road ground is broken for the road work construction just along a mound with ornamental rocks outside the gates of the Nanjing Xingyin Pharmaceutical Group. The road works threaten to change the lateral bearing capacity of the mound and could cause the rocks to become unbalanced and even slide down the slope. As a precaution 500mm casings were driven at an interval of 2 meters along the foot of the mound to strengthen the slopes. The casings varied in length from 4 to 6 meters and were driven to just below the ground level so that they will be invisible to passersby.

Jiangsu Zhongyan Geotechnical Engineering contracted the job. They were aware of resonance free vibrating technology introduced to the market by ICE a couple of years ago and now widely used in China for inner city construction projects and called for a rental quotation. The client rented a mobile crane to hoist the hammer and completed the job within a couple of days to full satisfaction of the neighbors at Xingyin Pharmaceutical Group.
