After a few years of design and testing we are happy to announce the launch of the 9S excavator mounted vibratory hammer. The 9S was developed in Holland for the Asian market as a cost-effective excavator mounted hammer. The first batch of 5 units has been sold, and the next batch is ready for sales. The 9S needs 253L/ min of hydraulic flow at 350 bar, and typically works well with a 30t excavator.

What to expect:

The 9S is made in the same factory where we produce our NF and RF vibro’s, which means our client benefit from the same expertise in material selection, tolerances, production procedures, and after sales service for the ICE S-series. The 9S will give you uninterrupted stable performance, with low wear and tear, covered by a 1-year limited warranty. The specifications are correct and can be achieved during normal day to day operation of the hammer.

What makes this model different from others?

·   The hammer is relatively lightweight, and the body width is narrow. The lightweight means the hammer offers a high amplitude. It also allows you to have a further reach and reduces the counterweight on the excavator. The narrow body allows you to drive the hammer in between sheet piles.

·   The hammer is equipped with a solid clamp body with attachment to lift piles from a stack. The solid clamp body is more wear resistant than a welded clamp.

·   We provide installation service throughout China through licensed installation engineers.

·   We produce standard equipment, which means we have easy spare parts availability

·   Under the condition of correct oil supply by the excavator, we guarantee the hammer meets the technical values stated in the specification sheets.

Excavator mounted hammers can receive quite a lot of abuse, with operators pushing the equipment beyond what the hammer is designed to do. To ensure you enjoy the full benefits of the 9S you should not force the hammer into rebound. Correcting the position of the sheet pile during driving by jacking the hammer backwards and forwards or twisting the pile during driving will also bring untold forces on the hammer and may lead to breakdowns. We can provide the parameters for durable operation of the hammer.
