This week we visited our client Zhejiang Geology & Mineral Construction’s  prefabricated panel diaphragm wall demonstration project.

The advantages of using prefabricated panels interspersed by cast-in-place walls is higher production rates, 40% concrete reduction, less noise, and more regularly shaped retaining walls. The ICE 1412C vibratory hammer was used to drive the panels all the way to the bottom the trench. We can see interest picking up in China for efficient and more environmentally sound retaining wall solutions!
