Shanghai ICE has introduced a hose yoke for its rental clients. The yoke lifts the hydraulic hose package off the ground with the cranes auxiliary hook. This working method has the following benefits:

·     The hoses are maneuvered by the crane instead of by operators pulling and teasing the hydraulic hoses in position.

·     The hoses are lifted safely off the ground, this reduces wear and tear as the hoses don’t snag behind sharp objects.

·      The verticality of the hammer and pile are easier to manage as the weight of the hoses is carried by the crane; the weight of the hoses is not dragging the hammer out of verticality.
